Scioto River Sweep through Scioto Grove Metro Park

Join us as we take on another sweep though the Grove. This is a 2-1/2 mile float and cleanup. We will be on river for several hours. We will meet at the Hibbs. Rd takeout point and carpool to the North Canoe Access point to put in. Bring your own or we have space for 12 with our boats.

About the Event
This is a river cleanup trip. We will put in at the North Canoe Access point and take out at the South Canoe Access Point off of Hibbs Rd. It is a 2-1/2 mile float. We usually meet there and carpool to the North access point. I’d love to give y’all and end time, but that’s hard to do. It depends on water level, how long we get into digging out tires, and how we start to feel. To be honest, we usually work until exhausted. We do have a little fun playing in the river as well. Hope you can join us as we work to return this section of river to its original glory.
