Holton Park Trash Cleanup with CPD, KCB, and CC&B.

We’ve been invited to help with a park cleanup this Sunday with the CPD and Keep Columbus Beautiful. They will have supplies for the park cleanup. We’ve been asked if we’d take on the creek cleanup. If you want to stay dry or if you want to get wet, it’s up to you.

About the Event
We’ll meet at the shelter house there, get supplies, and refreshments. Sign waivers. Those who wish to stay dry will go with officers of the CPD and pick litter in and around the park. Those who want to try something a little different can wade the creek with us. We will have tools, gloves, and onion bags to carry litter away from the water. If you plan to wade with us, please wear a pair of old tennis shoes, water shoes, something covering your toes. The creek bottom can be slick, rugged, and there might be sharp objects you could cut yourself on. Please bring a towel or change of clothes to change into once we’re done. Love Earth!
